On June 6th, 2024, SBA student volunteer team brought a rich and vivid first lesson of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) cloud teaching to the third grade class of Yanjing Primary School in Yanjin County, Yunnan Province through the online platform, popularizing the knowledge of TCM culture and traditional festivals of our country, and promoting the charm of the national essence of TCM culture.
The theme of this class was Traditional Chinese Medicine in the Dragon Boat Festival. During the lesson, Chen Heyu Xuan, who was in charge of the lecture, attracted the children to enter the class quickly through historical stories. Afterwards, Ms. Chen interacted with the children in a positive and effective way. In addition, Ms. Zheng Yameng and Ms. Chen taught the children how to draw rice dumplings.
This volunteer activity not only helped the third grade class of Yanjing Primary School to learn the knowledge of TCM, but also helped the volunteers to improve their comprehensive quality in practice, and to inherit and carry forward the TCM culture of our country.
