SF Express Labor Model Engages with Students in Responsibility Management Class

In an effort to foster youth of the new era who embody ideals, convictions, and a strong sense of responsibility, Department of Operations and Supply Chain Management hosted an innovative responsible management class. The participants included undergraduate students from the Business Administration (Business Analytics) and Logistics Management programs, along with their class advisors and faculty members.

 

The event featured a special guest, Sun Chen Gao, a labor model from SF Express, recognized as a leader in the express delivery sector and an exemplary embodiment of the enterprising spirit of contemporary youth. SF Express also dispatched key personnel: Zhang Heng, the Campus Recruitment Commissioner; Yin Feng, the Talent Development Commissioner; and Qiao Xiaojun, the Recruitment Commissioner, to engage in interactive sessions.

 


The in-person event commenced at 9:30 a.m. on June 20th in the Wenlan 111 classroom at the Nanhu Campus. It aimed to instill a sense of social responsibility and professionalism through hands-on experience emulating the work of an SF Express courier.

 


The SF courier shared insights on striving for excellence in routine roles and sustaining a fervent commitment to service and a professional demeanor amidst the hustle of their daily tasks. With an optimistic outlook encapsulated by the phrase every delivery is a journey, they showcased their unwavering dedication and profound customer care.

 


During the interactive session, students posed questions eagerly and engaged in profound dialogue with the SF team. They conveyed their respect for the courier's professionalism and service ethos, gaining clearer insights into their own career aspirations and societal duties. The students' messages on sticky notes were brimming with aspirations for the future and reverence for the labor model spirit.

 


In his concluding remarks, the faculty representative expressed a desire for more such initiatives and a commitment to offering students expanded opportunities for learning and practical engagement through collaborative efforts with industry partners.

 

This activity not only facilitated learning but, more crucially, imparted lessons on integrating knowledge with practical application, guiding students on how to evolve through service and excel through practical experience.
