AACSB Accreditation Expert, Prof Li Tianxing, Visited SBA to Guide the Accreditation Work

19th to 22nd May, 2024, Dr. Li Tianxing, PhD from Austin University in the United States, life-time professor of Fu Jen Catholic University in Taiwan, and Wenlan Scholar Chair Professor of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, came to School of Business Administration (SBA) to guide the AACSB international accreditation work.

 

On 20th May, SBA held a meeting of AACSB International Accreditation Leaders in Room 407 of Wenquan Building. The meeting was attended by Professor Wu Haitao, Dean of the Faculty, Yu Xiaopeng, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Faculty, Professors Fei Xianzheng, Hu Chuan, Wenhao, and Shi Junwei and Associate Professor Wu Yingna, as well as all the members of the Office of International Accreditation. Professor Li highly recognised the remarkable progress made by the Faculty of SBA in the AACSB international accreditation work and put forward valuable opinions and suggestions on the follow-up work focusing on the AACSB accreditation of SBA.

Afterwards, Professor Li paid an in-depth visit to the new office space of SBA in Wenhan Building. During his visit in October 2023, he made suggestions on our office and school space. During this, he expressed his heartfelt admiration for the progress of our renovation and the remarkable improvements.

On 21st May, AACSB International Accreditation Orientation Meeting was held in Room 407 of Wenquan Building. Attending the meeting were Associate Professor Wu Yingna, as well as all the teachers from the International Accreditation Compliance Team and the AoL (Assurance of Learning) Working Group. Professor Li elaborated on the matters we should pay special attention to when writing the relevant reports.

Next, all the faculty members of SBA will make concerted efforts and move forward steadily, and continue to promote the next phase of our AACSB International Accreditation task with a positive attitude and efficient actions. We will maintain an orderly pace and strive to complete the third progress report of AACSB as soon as possible and pass the AACSB international accreditation at an early date.
