SBA Hosts AACSB International Accreditation Expert Guidance Meeting

On 8th October, 2023, at 9:00 a.m., School of Business Administration (SBA) held an AACSB international accreditation expert guidance meeting in Room 407 of Wenquan Building. The meeting invited Prof. Michael T S Lee to provide guidance for the AACSB international accreditation work of SBA. Attending the meeting were Dean Wu Haitao, Vice Deans Fei Xianzheng and Shi Junwei, Director of International Accreditation Office Wu Yingna, and all the teachers of the International Accreditation Compliance Team and AoL (Assurance of Learning) Working Group of SBA.

 

Dean Wu Haitao expressed her heartfelt thanks to Prof. Lee for his careful guidance in our AACSB international accreditation work and introduced the basic situation of the International Accreditation Compliance Team and the AoL Working Group.

 

Prof. Lee took How to fill out the AACSB forms as the starting point, and explained the latest changes of each AACSB standard, the precautions for writing progress reports, and the difficulties of building the AoL system. By analyzing the challenges and confusions faced by other institutions in the process of report writing, he elaborated the details of the accreditation standards, clarified the specifications for filling out the forms, and emphasized the easy-to-make mistakes.

Participating teachers had an in-depth exchange with Prof. Lee on the important and difficult problems faced in the process of report writing. They said that they would absorb the experts' suggestions seriously, and further improve the second progress report of AACSB.

This AACSB international accreditation expert guidance meeting not only solved the problems encountered in the process of writing the accreditation report in time, but also helped SBA to have a more comprehensive understanding of the requirements of the new version of the accreditation standards. All the faculty and staff of SBA will make concerted efforts to push forward the next stage of AACSB international accreditation work, and strive to pass the AACSB accreditation as soon as possible.
