Introduction:
Research Center for Female Leadership and Student Career Development (the Center) of ZUEL was founded in Nov, 2021 by the SBA. Under the background of the “14th Five-Year Plan” development strategy, ZUEL works to build itself into a world-class university with Economics and Law deeply integrated and SBA aims to comprehensively improve the internationalization of the school according to international certification. In addition, amid the evaluation reform in education and personnel training in the new era, the Center focuses on the scientific research and personnel training on female leadership, career development of the college students to help female college students to become future business elites and social backbone and contribute to the all-round development of them.
The team of the Center is mainly composed of all leaders of the SBA, full-time teachers and ideological and political counselors across schools, departments and disciplines. It is also composed of enterprise leaders, well-known alumni, managers of Party and Administrative Office of ZUEL, teachers of employment guidance center, mental health education consultation center and other diversified personnel. It will devote itself to the following four aspects of research and training: (1) research and development of female leadership; (2) research and building of college students’ career planning and vocational ability; (3) research and building of college students’ sense of social responsibility; (4) research and training of women’s innovation and entrepreneurship.
The launch of the Center helps to link the personnel training of college students in the new era to the reality to develop all-rounded female college students with moral, intellectual, physical, and aesthetic skills. Theoretical research and training practice of female leadership and college student career development are combined and advanced simultaneously, which contributed to the integration of scientific research and talent training. In this way, education can be more effective on cultivating future business elites and newcomers of the times who “pursue truth through knowledge and integrity” on the basis of research results.
At present, the Center is in the basic stage of preliminary scientific research preparation and talent cultivation, and is carrying out preparatory work for relevant academic research. In the future, the Center will carry out scientific research and talent training in strict accordance with the university’s research institution management methods and research center planning.
